"If anyone says, ' I love God' and does not love his brother, he is a liar and the truth is not in him." 1 John 4:20

One of the outstanding characteristics of the New Testament that emphasis on the relationship between people. The Christian Faith centers as much on our getting along well with our brothers and sisters in Christ as it does in our getting along with God. In fact, doing the will of God is often related to acts of love, mercy, and kindness toward our fellows. In one of Jesus' parables, inheriting the Kingdom of God is posited on the manner in which the least of these, my brethern are treated. Those who inherit the kingdom give the cup of water, visit the sick, clothe the naked, feed the hungry. It is as simple as that. To be a Christian in to care for our neighbor, to love those whom we do see and live with and in so doing, we love God. Amen
