My Beloved Husband

To My Devoted Husband and Beloved Lover:

You have been my lover for 55 years. A sensitive and loving sweetheart.

You gave me four wonderful children and was a role model for them and a devoted father, a loving friend and guide.

Your creative ability has given the family many memories, including writings and musings and storytelling that has enriched each of us. You gave us a cabin in the mountains which fulfilled a dream we each had for future generations. It has been enjoyed by friends and family for over 40 years.

Your preaching and life vocation has always thrilled me. You were my minister and my spiritual leader. You were always on the cutting edge of theology and therefore were exciting to listen to. This has been testified by so many over the years. I am so proud of you and love you dearly.

There is much more that I can say, but you know how much you mean to me. Your tenderness and insight into our lives together is genuine and real.

We have shared so many glorious vacations together and each time our world has been enlarged and given us many insights outside our realm of living.

You have provided us with a beautiful home and car for our retirement years, and given us a sense of security. What more could I want in life, than to be your wife and lover and friend.
